CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This examination is one among the popular MBA entrance examination. It is held in national level. It is conducted by IIM. IIM stands for Indian Institute of management. There are totally 7 IIMs. In order to get admission at IIMs, you need to take good marks in CAT examination. This examination is conducted once in a year.
Similarly, for the academic year 2013, CAT 2013 was held during the month of November. This examination is held online at various centers in India. Today i.e 14.1.2014, CAT 2013 results was announced.

The first place goes to 8 among the CAT 2013 undertakers. All among them were from engineering background. All those eight students got 100 percentile. Among that 8, only six students were B.E/B.Tech students and rest is doing their M.Tech with 3 years work experience. The second place goes to 10 students. They secured 99.99 percentile. The native places of 8 toppers of CAT 2013 is Vijayawada, Secunderabad, Samalkot, Mumbai , Delhi and Hyderabad. Only one among the 18 toppers is a girl. And the rest of the 17 were boys.

This examination is considered as a toughest MBA examination. Since the result of CAT 2013 has been announced, the next round will be Group discussion or Group Task. The second round will be easy for good speakers and communicators. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion or group task. After filtering students in this round, selected candidates will be called for personal interview.
